The Essentials
Machine wash cold
Turn it inside out and wash on a gentle, cold cycle with like colors and a mild detergent. Cold water protects the color and the stretch.
Air dry only
Lay flat or hang to dry, away from direct heat. It's the single best thing you can do to keep the built-in bra supportive.
Skip the softener
Fabric softener coats the fibers and dulls the natural stretch. Modal is already silky-soft on its own.
Cool iron if needed
Use low heat or a quick steam. Never iron directly over the support band or cups - heat breaks down elastic.
Wash before first wear
A quick first wash freshens the fabric and helps it settle into its true, second-skin fit.
Store it folded
Fold flat in a drawer rather than hanging - hanging by the straps over time can slowly stretch them out.
